Is There Anyway To Take A Screen Shot From A Plasma Tv?

And please don’t say “just use a camera” lol. I’ve figured that one out. :)
I’m looking for a way to get still images from my TV to my PC without quality loss. Any suggestions for that are welcome.
Also, the TV is a 58″ Panasonic Plasma and has a SD-Card port in the front. If there is a way I can capture a frame onto a SD card, that would be perfect.
Thank you!

There are some rare TVs that have TV outputs that might be used, but very few do, and I assume yours doesn’t. So, you have to get TV into your computer. you’ll need a video capture card, either internal or USB. With one of these, you can input your TV to the computer and get your screen shots. Google Hauppauge for one good brand of TV tuner.

No way can you use the SD input….it’s an INPUT not bidirectional……
Take a picture….take lots of pictures…you’ll find one that is usable…
If you’re attempting to get ONE SPECIFIC FRAME…..I suggest getting a DVR and recording the show so you can pause it and get your frame shot……
